    Happy guinea pigs
Bought for 2 fussy guinea pigs.Easy to put together, no glue needed. Wood cut well. Looks easy to clean. Lots of room, seems sturdy. Good value for money. Going to buy another to keep as a spare.

    Guinea pig des res
Wanted a house that my guinea pigs wouldn’t eat within a week. This being wood and not sea grass suited nicely. They haven’t tried to chew it although they do have a 2nd grass house which they can chew. The house was easy to assemble. The only adjustment I had to make was my guinea pigs are use to a doorway at the end of their house so I had to cut an entrance in the end panel, which can be seen in the 2nd photo. This was easy to do. The flat roof gives another level for the pigs to sit on.I’m really pleased with this house. Have had it for several weeks now and it’s still in one piece, money well spent. Not too sure whether this would be large enough for an average sized rabbit though. It is a bit cramped if my two fat pigs get in their together.!

    sturdy
I have had this same house before 4 years ago and it was bigger unless they do different sizes but unfortunately this time round it was big enough for my lionhead rabbit she was pregnant and the roof was on the side of floor because she needed head space to give birth. this was her second litter and the house wasn’t big enough I’m not sure if still born or she stepped on it due to space of this hut but I wouldn’t recommend this size for big rabbit or lionheads. other than that maybe mini lop as it is sturdy material and warm for them just not bigger buns

    Looks great!
Arrived quickly. Easy to assemble and looks great. Good size for a medium rabbit.

  5. Jade

    Perfect for young mini lop
She uses it more as something to sit on but enjoys it all the same. She can fit in it but once fully grown i will have to get the next size up. Worth the money though as it all clicks together, it’s sturdy and no screws. win/win

Fell apart every time it was moved
I thought this product was going to be more sturdy, every time I lifted this up to clean the cage it fell apart, you had to use precision technique to hold it all together when lifting as the sides easily slide out from the front and back walls.Used indoors in a Guinea pig cage, it looked really good to start with, a nice pale beige colour it fitted in well, until it soaked up urine into the wood and just ended up smelling, probably better for use outdoors and being wooden of course it can’t be cleaned. It was certainly big enough for 3 Guinea pigs to cuddle into comfortably and they did enjoy chewing on it. The wood didn’t splinter so I would say it is safe for Guineas to chew.Based on the fact you can’t pick it up without it falling apart, I don’t think it was not good value for money, but worth a try using if you’ve got an outdoor set up for your small animals.
