This is a nice size for my 6″ long Russian tortoise. It gives him room to turn around and the ramp seems to make him less anxious than bathing is a wash tub with steep sides. He actually relaxes and soaks. Typically he claws endlessly at the sides to get out. He does tend to slip back into the water when trying to climb the ramp, but has always made it out on his own.

I can’t say how sturdy this item is, I just got it. But it feels like it won’t break for a long time.My box turtle is much more active with this in his terrarium. I’m happy and he is too.
