    Brilliant and great price
Bought as a replacement when the H2Ocean ATO pump I have in my marine tank failed (after only 12 months!). Had to splice the wires to adapt it but it works brilliantly and is actually a lot quieter than the original pump! Highly recommended.

This pump was an accident waiting to happen for an inexperienced person!
Upon opening the package the filter grid at the back was loose, screws missing from the assembly and some form of epoxy all over the product from some sort of half hearted repair attempt by someone. Not sure if this was a returned product or the manufacturers quality standards, but…Upon closer inspection when coming to use the pump in a DIY project which involved cutting the wires to connect it to a microcontroller I also discovered someone had damaged the cable connecting to the power supply and had tried to make it waterproof with an epoxy coating again… the repair once again was inadequate and bare wires were exposed, luckily I was using this in a project which involved stripping the wire anyway, if I hadn’t of been, I probably wouldn’t of checked and would’ve been electrocuting either myself or my fish! Please be careful and inspect this if you buy it. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures of the wiring as it had been so long since purchasing it I wasn’t even bothered and needed the job done. Just thought it was worth putting this here as it felt like an accident ready to happen if it fell into the wrong or inexperienced hands!

Plugged into 12 volt power supply – did not work out of the box. Waste of time and effort.

    Needs a transformer to work.
Had to purchase a transformer to make it work.

No good this version for ATO.
I have purchased a few of these now over the last few years. This version does not cut off water after the float valve hits the cut off of power it just keeps going I’ve also tried it on my other system which has the same setup. Really strange this pump design. I like the out of water cut off but it doesn’t work with the ATO system I use.

Failed on first use – Waste of money – Avoid
Plugged into power, pump instantly failed. Waste of money and being returned for refund.

  7. Speedy

This thing work perfectly as a replacement for my Tunze ATO pump and it’s so much quieter. One tip you will have to open up the ATO and turn the pot for speed up to max or it won’t run.

So people are giving it bad reviews because they don’t realize they’re purchasing a very very small pump which is made for something like an ato (auto top off ) reservoir for their fish tank. The plug scheme for this is a perfect replacement for your cheap little ato when it fails.

NEVER got the power supply. SAVE your money.

  10. Acevt

This pump is a replacement for my Digiten ATO system i purchased a year ago. Pumps water pretty good and is very quiet. Hopefully this one will last at least a year like the original did.

Have ordered this pumo in the past…this one appears to be different. Unfinished. Not sure if a cover is missing? Still pumps well with no electricity leak so I dont plan on returning.
