Fabulous looking.. At a distance
I really love the look of this bird house at a distance as it appears just as it does in the picture. The detailing, layout and colouration is spot on but upon closer inspection you can see how the roof has been hastily stuck on with glue gun glue as well as some of the detailing. I had to peel some of the stringy bits of glue away but that was no big issue. Hopefully this bird house will weather well but time will tell. At the moment, it is screwed onto a fence with some bird feed on top as it seems a little late in the season for birds to nest now. Thus far, the blue tits, starlings and coal tits have enjoyed visiting this little bird hotel to enjoy the views so I’m happy to give this 4 stars as it is attractive to look at and represents decent value at under £20.

Lovely to look at but unable to clean.
This is a really cute, mostly well made birdhouse but as there isn’t any way to get into the nesting box side of it to clean it then it’s pretty much useless as a nesting box because of the risk of disease spreading through the local bird population. Nesting boxes should be cleaned out every year once the parents and their young have left it. It also didn’t make a lot of sense for it to be freestanding as you would need something fairly tall to stand it on so that the birds felt safe nesting in it. Although that could be changed by attaching a hanger on the back of it so it can be attached to the side of the house or a tree. It is such a shame that I feel it is unusable as a nesting box because it really is well made and looks adorable, but the lack of any access to clean it out means I can only give it three stars.

Aus der Ferne betrachtet ist das Vogelhaus schon ganz niedlich. Leider kann es aus der Nähe aber nicht wirklich überzeugen …Es handelt sich nicht wie im Produkttitel angegeben um einen “Gartenfutterspender” oder ein “künstliches Nest”, sondern um ein reines Dekoobjekt. Dies deshalb, weil es sich einfach mal nicht reinigen lässt.Hinzu kommt, dass man doch eine ziemlich herbe Enttäuschung erlebt, wenn man aufgrund der Fotos von einem Rindendach ausgeht. Leider besteht das Dach aber nur aus relativ dickem (geschätzt 3 mm) und flexiblem Kunststoff :-(Die Holzbalken sind fast alle geradezu zu gut verarbeitet. Einen “urigeren” bzw. echteren Holz-Look erhielte man, wenn die Balken auch mal Astlöcher oder Unebenheiten aufweisen würden. Davon sind für meinen Geschmack zu wenig vorhanden. Aber gut, damit könnte man leben.Störend ist aber auf jeden Fall das Kunststoffdach und der Umstand, dass sich das Häuschen nicht öffnen lässt.

Bewertet wird Belle Vous Vogelhaus für drauÃen – Vogelhaus aus HolzDas Vogelhaus Belle Vous kam gut verpackt und unbeschadet bei uns an. Die Kids waren sofort begeistert.Tatsächlich muss man hier aber unterscheiden, ob man es als Dekoelement oder tatsächlich als Vogelnest benutzen möchte.Im ersten Falle würde ich das Häuschen mit 5 Sternen bewerten. Es sieht wirklich zauberhaft aus, wenn man dazu noch ein paar kleine Zwerge oder sonstige âBewohnerâ hinstellt, ist das ein zauberhaftes Dekoelement.Als Vogelstation wird es nicht ganz so viel taugen. Es kann nicht gereinigt werden und würde dann wahrscheinlich innerhalb kurzer Zeit, mehr von Mäusen als von Vögeln benutzt werden. Deswegen bekommen es die Kids und können daraus eine kleine Welt basteln.Wie alle Vine Produkttester:innen, berichte ich über meine eigenen Erfahrungen mit dem getesteten Produkt und bewerte dies mit 1-5 Sternen. Ich bewerte das Häuschen mit knappen 4 Sternen, weil es nur als Dekoelement nutzbar ist.
