Not waterproof
After taking the product out of the packaging and examining the light, I found it very smallDespite its size, it was bright enough for our small tank.Finding some small clips to attach it to the inside of the tank, I thought great problem solved.Fast forward 24 hours and the light would not turn on. Removing it from the fish tank and inspecting it, it was black and full of water.On hindsight, I should have put sealant on the bottom of the unit before putting it in the tank, as it looked dodge but you do not expect it to leak if in the description it say it is waterproof.
