Very small
This sand bath is a lot smaller than others I’ve ordered, and I doubt my son’s hamster will take to it as she is used to having a lot more room. I could be wrong, but until the gorgeous girl has it in her (impressively large) enclosure, I can’t be certain.Anyway, the product itself is made of plastic. The bottom half is opaque (red) whereas the top is transparent, and has an entrance shaped like the head of a small, furry creature. I feel a circle would be more appealling. A small scoop is also provided to help you clean out the bath.How sturdy the plastic turns out to be is yet to be established, but on first examination it did feel like it could be brittle.The jury is out on this one.

Cute sand bath, but sadly missing the scoop
This is a lovely little sand bath – itâs really cute with the hamster head cut out shape! My Syrian is quite big for it, but fits in fine for a bath. At least this way I donât need to use much sand each time.Itâs good quality, sturdy, and clips together firmly. Safe, rounded edges with no sharp bits. Hammy likes it ðSadly, mine didnât come with the scoop as advertised, which is a shame as I was hopeful to be able to scoop the poop easily to make the sand last longer.Good value for money, depending on whether you get a scoop or not!
