Would not recommend for cage liner as pee needs to go through top layer of fabric so it stays dry and inside layer holds pee. It rather holds wetness on topside of fabric. Got it to keep guinea pigs cool in hot summer. They however kept pushing away rather than lie on it. I use it for lap pad for cuddle time instead.

They are more absorbent than I expected. They dry out pretty quickly. They would be perfect if the manufacturer could find a way to make them colder but they are cool enough and worth the purchase

Not quite as big as I hoped. Material is cuticle catchy so, it may catch on hedgehogs toes too. They are easy to wash though.
