Our exclusive ultra-luxury oval sheepskin pet rugs are created using offcuts of a Merino-cross North American sheepskin. These are very unlike anything that is available commonly in the UK. They are very, very dense fleece and are exceptionally soft. They are used to line the footwell and boots of the most luxurious and expensive cars in the world that demand only the very highest quality. These skins have been clipped down to 25 mm and then highly ironed to create a sublime feel. They are literally irresistible. The offcut has been cut into an oval shape that is at a minimum 53 x 36 cm. They are perfect to line a pet basket. To clean, just take outside and give it a good shake, a bit of a brush (with our Bamboo Sheepskin brush) and it’s back to new. These sheepskins can be spot washed or if needed, careful machine washing, the appearance may change if machine washed as these skins are highly polished (ironed), this is how the beautiful soft, silky finish is achieved.
